Jann Hurley Architect was established in 1993 in Ponsonby, relocating to Pukekohe in 1998.
In 2014 the company name was changed to Hurley Architects Ltd to reflect the growth of the company.
From the beginning Jann has sought to set her company apart from other firms by being as customer focused as possible. She has realised her vision of a business that offers friendly, professional service as she collaborates with both builders and clients as a team.

We are proud of the ongoing success of builders constructing our designs in the Registered Master Builders Awards. Our designs have won Gold in the years 2000, 2006, 2009, 2012 and 2015. In 2015 one of our projects was a finalist in the NZ Wood Awards for Excellence in Residential Design.
Graduating from the Auckland University School of Architecture with a Bachelor of Architecture with Honours, Jann became a registered architect in 1996. Her company Jann Hurley Architect was established in 1993 in Ponsonby, relocating to Pukekohe in 1998. She is fourth generation born and bred in Pukekohe having attended Valley School, Hill School and Pukekohe High School where she was dux in 1985. Jann enjoys all sports and coaches Netball.
Starting off as an office junior for Lion Breweries, Sharron now has over 25 years experience in the construction industry predominantly in high-end residential and light commercial sectors. She currently lives in Clarks Beach and enjoys motorsport and spending time with her family including her two young grandchildren.
Originally from Cambridge in the Waikato, Elizabeth completed her architectural studies at Auckland University, followed by several years experience honing her design flair in combination with detailing skills required to deliver excellence in residential and commercial projects. Elizabeth has experience designing high quality townhouses and country homes, as well as retail fit out experience for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Breitling. She currently lives with her husband and daughter on a Mangatawhiri dairy farm.
Max is an architectural graduate, having completed his degree in November 2015. He has excellent design skills, creates fantastic visual presentations of his work and attention to detail that will take him a long way in the architecture field. When he's not snow boarding, ocean swimming, diving or pursuing his interest in landscape photography, Max is working on his own tiny house design. Max is a Homestar practitioner and is a qualified Homestar assessor.
Ray has joined us from Manila. He brings to the company detailed technical knowledge of Archicad as well as residential and commercial documentation experience. He has a keen interest in BIM technology. Ray has worked in the UK and USA. He is now settling into life in New Zealand with his wife and looks forward to seeing more of the country when it stops raining!
Born and raised in South Auckland, Nickolas' attentions are focused on creating carefully considered and fully resolved architectural solutions for homes and has also worked on some high end commercial projects such as those for Christian Dior and La Prairie. When not in the gym, you will find him in and around Pukekohe looking for a first home.
Marischka is now a graduate of the University of Auckland School of Architecture. We are very proud of her and pleased to have supported her through the course of her university years. She been with us part time for a while now, and you'd hard pressed to find a more competent graduate. Marischka is locally born and raised and volunteers her time as a Girl Guide leader after having completed her Queens Guide Award.
Nicola currently works part time, 4 days per week. Originally from South Taranaki, she now lives in Pukekohe with her husband and two children. She has varied experience in Accounts, Payroll, and Office Admin, and has worked in several different industries mostly in Auckland and London.
